And the walls come down…

Today several of us took a ceremonial swing at bringing down the walls in the newly expanded Center on Multicultural Academic Excellence suite. Now, along with the suite downstairs in Oregon Hall, students will have two dedicated areas to receive support and excellent academic advising for all of their needs. This will be the first time in the University history that we have dedicated the true amount of staff and square footage needed to fully serve our underrepresented students. With our new focus and determination, we will improve the excellent services that OMAS has offered in the past with new programs, opportunities, and services. It was a good day!
