ASUO Kick-Off Retreat

ASUO Kick-Off Retreat—October 8, 2011

I had the great experience to visit with the newly appointed and elected ASUO student staff during their annual retreat at the coast this weekend. I had the pleasure of leading a short, interactive session on Multicultural Organization Development (MCOD) with them. As usual, student leaders were engaged, curious, enthusiastic, and excited. We had a great time talking about how to build on the ASUO commitment to diversity and equity and to have a chance to think about where the ASUO is currently, in terms of MCOD and where they want to go. All in all, it was a great day. Jan and Richard Lariviere joined us for lunch and it was a good opportunity for administration to interact with student leaders.
